The manifestation of Faria de Sá came a few days after another politician, the city councilman Gilberto Natalini, great defender of Armenian cause – and by consequence of human rights – also positioned against the coward Azerbaijan’s attack against Armenians in Artsakh.
On the opposite way of human rights and of the principle of self-determination of the peoples, Cesar Maia and Rodrigo Maia, city councilman and federal deputy of Rio de Janeiro, respectively published an note supporting Azerbaijan on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh).
The deputy Rodrigo Maia published on his Facebook page a post of the Azerbaijan Embassy on Brazil thanking the solidarity given of Cesar Maia to the question.
The Armenian community, always attentive to the internet, counterattacked the publication and mysteriously the comments and the post disappeared of the Facebook pages of the politicians (read more here).

Faced the news published about the armed conflicts on the region of Nagorno -Karabakh, I sympathize with the Armenian population in the region and with the Armenian community of Brazil, extolling the feeling of peace that must reign against conflicts of this nature.
That dialog and respect to the universal human values can be the guide to a pacific solution in the region.
